Flat, 2-dimensional weight lifting, or dynamic weight swinging? That is the question. Clubs are one of the first and still one of the most useful tools in human evolution. Today, they are resurfacing as a fun and empowering fitness tool with a laundry list of benefits. If you haven’t heard of clubbells, here’s your chance to experience them. We will introduce the art of Clubbell swinging and how it can enhance your own fitness and longevity. The Clubbell’s displaced center of mass will challenge your body and movement in new ways that simultaneously build full-body strength and neuromuscular coordination, while restoring joint & connective tissue health. In this class, we welcome all levels of experience and fitness levels as we introduce the unparalleled benefits of multi-planar weight swinging.

Clubbell Yoga
Thursday at 5:30-6:30 pm
Champions Health & Racquet Club (map)

Often referred to as “strong yoga”, Clubbell Yoga is not your typical yoga practice. Clubbell Yoga is derived from the ancient disciplines of hatha yoga and Clubbell training. The lightweight clubbells add an important resistance aspect to yoga training. The result is an increase in flexibility and mobility associated with traditional yoga, but also incredible strength conditioning.  Classes run 60 minutes, and are suitable for all ages and fitness levels. We focus on strength, flexibility and core activation, with an emphasis on mindful movement. Come see what these holistic mind-body exercises are all about.
